The Enzyme Technology group at DTU Bioengineering is looking for qualified candidates for two 3-year postdoc positions that will be part of a 5-year research project. The research project is funded by the Innovation Fund Denmark and is a collaboration between the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), University of Copenhagen (KU), and DSM (the HMO Innovation & Business Development division in Hørsholm, DK). The project seeks to develop new enzymatic technologies for production of human milk oligosaccharides (HMOs) and involves enzyme discovery, enzyme expression and characterization, enzyme design and protein engineering to obtain new specificities and improved activities, as well as development of new and efficient enzymatic routes to obtain HMOs. If you are seeking to establish your career as a top-level scientist whose results have impact for human health and nutrition, this postdoc provides a strong foundation for fulfilling this ambition.
